GDPR
Kingston University requires all students to be aware of the serious issues pertaining to privacy and the protection of confidential information when uploading information as failure to do so can have legal ramifications. Students also need to be aware that confidentiality still applies after information is uploaded on the website as it may be retained for a period of up to 3 years.
Data collection – student Work may contain images, video, and/or link to social media including personal website. Students agree by uploading content with their name on it and/or a content which identifies the student, it is understood this will be shared with the public. Under these Terms students may not upload content which identifies other people in which they have not gained their expressed consent to share such images or personal information.
Students are advised to not upload any personal sensitive information which may identifies them beyond their name, course, or Work. Students are advised they should not share your personal phone number, address, or other sensitive personal information.
Students agree the content will be shared, stored, and kept by Kingston for a period of three years.
