Memory is an abstract concept. My project consists of a concept video and an archive of memory objects, and my goal is to give the public an understandable perspective of what memory looks like through a design lens.
I use the hand as a medium for memory transmission by projecting photographs of real objects onto real hands to establish an emotional link between people and memory objects. Objects become distinctive because of the memories they carry. When the images of objects are projected onto human hands, the interaction of light with the human body creates a warm, reddish glow that wraps around the object. This phenomenon gives life to an otherwise mundane object and enhances its resonance with human emotions and memories.
