The goal of the project was to create a unique fashion collection that addressed social norms, workplace inequalities, body image and historical constraints on women’s rights. The collection seeks to empower women, freeing them from limitations and embracing individuality. Furthermore, the relationship to the groundwork builds on previous work on gender inequality and social issues, and the project delves deeper into women’s rights and expands on fashion’s role in social change. It will showcase growth as a designer and a commitment to fashion as a platform for advocacy. Based on this, the challenge of this study was to push the creative boundaries, a project that combines unconventional materials, bold design and thought-provoking concepts. By critically evaluating the messages and implications of this research work, this research aims to inspire others to question traditional gender roles and expectations, demonstrating this research’s dedication to growth as a designer and challenging the status quo.
