We shouldn’t fear the rhythm, we should dance along and let it liberate us!
Dance is a great way to show emotion by using the body as the outlet. I am communicating through this project that dancing is present in all aspects of our life. We accidentally do the same steps that choreographers have intricately weaved into their performances everyday without even realising it.
It’s important for me to share this because dancing in public should be normalised… but it takes a lot of confidence.
I want to show people that everything we do in our life has a connection to dance. It can be as subtle as jigging your knee, nodding your head or tapping your feet. Dancing in public, in private, by yourself or in a room full of people shouldn’t be scary – it’s exciting!
