I’m Rose (she/her), a maker, artist and actor based in London and Manchester. My current work explores the art of puppetry and set design, acting as a way for me to combine my passion for theatre and design. I’m interested in the process of breathing life and feeling into inanimate objects through their construction and performance. Illustration and animation is a huge part of my practice, I love working with analogue processes such as painting, drawing, printing, building and more.
Alongside my independent practice I’m also the Head of Art and Design at Switch_MCR, a Manchester based Theatre Company creating new and exciting, accessible work.
