My Final Major Project is called “UN-LOCAL: SPACE, SEA AND SLEEPING-BAGS”. Looking at Mankind’s obsession with the unknown and undiscovered World through 3D design. For my final product I have created a backpack for loo-roll, hankies and spray storage, nicknamed “the portapooper001”. This creation is designed to encourage adventure and exploration in a 2023 world by taking a homely and comforting item such as loo-roll and making it a useful ‘tool’ that can be carried with the person on their everyday trips. By doing this it might make the wearer more confident to travel further due to the possession of their own loo-roll. Embarrassing, awkward, and unwanted situations such as blowing their nose or drying their hands suddenly become less stressful. This idea promotes exploration in someone’s life by adding something new to their everyday routine. These could be as follows:

• Buckling multiple belts before leaving the house
• Loading up a 9-pack of toilet roll into their bag
• Leaving their regular bag at home and taking something more adventurous instead
• Walking faster to avoid the rain so your loo-roll stays dry
• Maybe you will talk to someone new because of what you are wearing

And SO MUCH MORE! This product is aimed at the urban 2023 commuter. By wearing this they can transform their normal repetitive life into something more playful and obscure.
