‘Invisible Cage’ is a graphic novel that tells a story in a fake city where monitors blend in the crowd.
The initial inspiration came from the uncomfortable feeling of ‘being tracked’ while using the Internet. In this project, I explored the topic of the ubiquitous surveillance from the internet giants and people’s life in the information society, and created a soft sci-fi narrative in which I built a world to convey my thoughts towards this problem, aiming to arouse reflection on the gradual invasion of the online world.
Growing up with numerous fictions and comics, I always imagine myself creating my original story and bringing it to the public. Art is a visual way of communication, and I really hope the readers could feel the vibe through my works.
