Helen Turner is a multidisciplinary artist from London working in puppet-making, printmaking, drawn and stop motion animation. She continuously draws, builds, prints and sews whilst gathering inspiration from literature, folklore and her own emotions and experiences.
In her final year at KSA, she has delved into the process of etching and aquatint as well as explored folktales and family history in her work.
Helen’s graduate film is an animation using puppet, print and drawn processes to convey the story of the Lady of Curtains, a mysterious creature who discovers windows dotted around her furry body.
