“WEATHER WEAVE” is a project that experiments with lines and materials to organize, present, and express the visual language of weather and human interactions.
Thinking about the everyday and necessary nature of the topic of weather, I began to analyze the verbs that connect weather and humans from the perspective of a visual communicator. The metal weave installation for lines is the ultimate visual language I propose to describe the interaction between humans and the weather. The characteristics of transfer, sequence, programmatic and irregularity are designed into the weaving law. Based on my passion and research on the medium, I designed a foldout as a vehicle to record my visual descriptions.
I believe that as visual communicators, we can come up with new ideas and narratives to talk about a variety of topics.
