This 2 component Installation documents a slow personal return back to a site of importance to the lone traveller shown in the film. The landscape is starting to degrade, coupled only with the relentless soundscape of the crashing waves. Meanwhile 13 corrupted figures can do nothing but watch heads in hands from their post-apocalyptic landscape. The viewer is invited to join them to watch this pilgrimage.
Through a personal site-specific journey for the artist, this piece aims to explore the omnipresent chemical degradation of our natural world that has already spread its corrupting influence into its every last corner.
