This project stems from my understanding of the role and influence of the term “projection” in the process of perceiving personality. The term “unconscious projective behaviour” is used in psychology to refer to a psychological defence mechanism with a negative bias. However, I believe that projection is more of a cognitive tool in our lives.
I have used four chapters of interactive experience to express my understanding of projection:
1 Projection projects aversion to one’s own defects onto others;
2 Projection gives a limiting dimension to the way we perceive the world;
3 Projection makes us unconsciously attracted to certain information;
4 Projection brings both bad and good, and when we bring our unconscious projections to consciousness, we gain a fresh perspective.
I hope to bring the audience some unique sense of interaction and invite them to explore together the logic of behaviour hidden in the unconscious.
