Amelia Redcliffe is both an illustrator, game designer and self-professed vampire. Her love for storytelling is strongly intertwined with the vibrant and endearing worlds she crafts. Whether it’s a vampire looking for their lost companion, or a little angel whose awoken in a beautiful Heaven, her stories like to explore philosophical morals and the heartwarming emotions of the human experience. Great feelings of loneliness and hope, sorrow and love, finding solidarity in the face of despair, permeate her stories. To her, the greatest achievement of her art is to make people feel alongside the characters.
The work showcased here shows a range of worlds and characters that she has bought to life. It includes concept art, such as My Own Little Heaven, which conveys the ethereal, Ancient Greek inspired landscapes of her own imagined Heaven, as well as screenshots from small games she’s made, Finding Paradise and The Last two Vampires.
Although she often goes by the account name idonttrustangels, she would like to conclude by saying that she does, in fact, trust in angels.
