Final Major Project: Chatelaine
Chatelaine is a collection of accessories and a zine. Each accessory is made from discarded upcycled materials and turned into something completely different. A CD Radio player is now a functional bag, a ‘single-use’ vape turned into a torch, shoelaces turned into a headpiece, cutlery items are now rings, and sweater sleeves are mittens.
Behind the collection is a strong ecological ideology and heavy stylistic inspiration from the queer techno rave scene. The accompanying zine illustrates and contextualizes the accessories. Printed on recycled paper, hand bound with woolen floss.
Back To You – Intimacy Card game (with Angelique Putri Philpott and Miruna Robu)
With the belief that taking a step back to reconnect is valuable, we created a card game experience. Players ask each other increasingly deep questions in order to connect and learn something new about someone you already know well. A deck of conversation prompt questions to guide a meaningful conversation, paired with an origami crafting activity.
As a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural creative, I am interested in advertising, graphic design, film, fashion, and art in all forms.
