The MA Product and Furniture Design course welcomes those who seek to challenge, expand, and progress definitions of design.
It focuses on the real and the imagined design, creating a positive change for people, communities, spaces, and places. The course enables designers to respond to current and emerging needs and behaviours – addressing the making of design, who does it and the economies of design, and who can access it.
The cohort of designers sees conventional notions of product and furniture design as a starting point – not a limit to individual and collective outputs.
We collaborate with brands, organisations and manufacturers to address the challenges of design beyond the university. 2023 project partners include Magis and Herman Miller.
This online showcase is accompanied by a physical exhibition at Herman Miller, London. Eventbrite registration is required.
